The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy CD is the primary book in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy parody sci-fi “set of three of six books” by Douglas Adams. The novel is a transformation of the initial four pieces of Adams’ radio series of a similar name, fixating on the experiences of the main man to endure the obliteration of Earth; while wandering space, he comes to gain proficiency with the reality behind Earth’s presence.
Greg Costikyan investigated The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Unabridged Audiobook in Ares Magazine #6 and remarked that “The Hitchhiker’s Guide is composed with great English mind, definitely more diverting than any American sitcom.
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Audio opens with a presentation portraying humankind as a crude and profoundly troubled species as well as the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy which gives data on each planet in the system. Earthman Arthur Dent rises and shines in his home in West Country, England, to find that the nearby arranging committee is attempting to crush his home to construct a detour and rests before the tractor to stop it.
His companion Ford Prefect-an outsider analyst for Guide from a little planet nearby Betelgeuse who has been acting like a jobless entertainer from Guildford for quite some time, persuades the lead official, Mr. Prosser, to rest before the tractor for Arthur with the goal that he can get him six pints of lager at the bar.
The development group starts destroying the house in any case, yet stops when an armada of outsider spaceships shows up on Earth undetected by human space offices.
